Mountain weather information
The forecasts in the mountain weather section are generated automatically from numerical model data (MET Norway, CC BY 4.0) and are provided as general information only, without any guarantee of accuracy or availability. These forecasts are not official BMKG warnings and do not show volcano status. Route distance and time estimates are rough approximations from OpenStreetMap data and an elevation model. SIMAKSI, quota and contact info may change without notice. Always check official sources (BMKG, MAGMA Indonesia/PVMBG, and the national park manager or basecamp) and use your own judgement before hiking. Mountain hiking involves risk; the decision to hike is entirely your responsibility.
